1.*SMITH & WESSON HAND EJECTOR FOURTH CHANGE. Cal. 32 WCF (32-20).
This early revolver is equipped with a 6" barrel, fixed sights and S&W medallion
diamond checkered walnut grips. Ser. 100677. CONDITION: It retains 95-97% deep blue, thin
at the sides of the muzzle and sharp edges with 2 or 3 small nicks on the barrel and a few
striated lines on the left side. The front strap is slightly thin behind the trigger guard
and both front and back straps have a little fine pinpoint spots of rust. There is a faint
cylinder line. The bore is excellent with one or two tiny spots. The grips are excellent

2.SMITH & WESSON K-22 MASTERPIECE. Cal. 22. This early 5-screw revolver is equipped
with a 6" barrel, partridge front and adjustable rear sights with S&W medallion
diamond checkered walnut grips. Ser. K1787. CONDITION: It retains 96-97% deep bright blue,
having wear only at the muzzle, sharp edges and a few spots about the cylinder. The
trigger and hammer retain 98% case colors. The grips, which are for an earlier revolver,

3.*COLT OFFICERS MODEL MATCH TARGET REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Spec. This late model revolver is
equipped with a 6" barrel, partridge ramp front sight and adjustable rear. It has
over-size checkered Colt medallion walnut grips. Ser. 937301. CONDITION: Retains 97-98%
blue overall, thin at the sides of the muzzle and showing light sharp edge wear. The
rampant Colt on the sideplate is a light strike. The bore and grips are near perfect.

4.*SMITH & WESSON HAND EJECTOR 4TH CHANGE. Cal. 32-20. This revolver is equipped with
5" barrel, fixed sights and diamond checkered S&W medallion walnut grips. Ser.
92661. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining 95-97% bright factory reblue, having the star at
the serial number and diamond on the left grip frame. It has wear only at the muzzle,
sharp edges and lower edges of the bottom of the grip frame with a light cylinder line.
There are a few small spots of holster wear at the front trigger guard and tiny spots on
the sideplate. Near perfect bore. The grips show moderate wear with a small piece of wood

5.*LOT OF TWO SMITH & WESSON HAND EJECTOR REVOLVERS. Cal. 38 Spcl. Both are nickel
plated with 6" barrels and fixed sights. (1) This one is equipped with round butt
S&W logo diamond black hard rubber grips. Ser. 625824. CONDITION: Retains 95-98%
strong nickel, beginning to dull with spots of pinpoint rust on the left side above the
grip. There is "DPC-1028" scratched on the side plate. The nickel is worn off
about half the backstrap. There are traces of case colors on the trigger and hammer. The
bore is near perfect and the grips are excellent. (2) Is equipped with square butt and
replacement diamond checkered S&W medallion magnum walnut grips. Ser. 531759.
CONDITION: It retains most of an old bright re-nickel, done over the occasional fine

6.LOT OF THREE ANTIQUE COLT REVOLVERS. (1) Model 1894 U.S. Army. Cal. 38 Colt. This
revolver is equipped with 6" barrel, fixed sights, smooth walnut grips and Lanyard
loop in the butt. Ser. 61371. CONDITION: Retains 60-70% blue overall with some replaced
screws, replaced sideplate, and cylinder. The crane shows much abuse and there seems to be
a mechanical problem with the hammer/trigger linkage. The firing pin has been sawed off.
(2) Model 1896. Cal. 41 Colt. This revolver is equipped with 4-1/2" barrel, fixed
sights, and rampant Colt hard rubber grips. Ser. 236926. CONDITION: Retains 40-50% mottled
blue being a gray metal color on the sides of the barrel, outside of the cylinder, front
and back straps. Good bore with sharp strong rifling, excellent grips. (3) Model 1895.
Cal. 38 Colt. This revolver is equipped with 6" barrel, fixed sights and rampant Colt
hard rubber grips. Ser. 111872. CONDITION: Retains 15-25% blue in sheltered areas, the
balance being a silver/blue/brown patina. The front sight has been modified. Fair bore

7.*SMITH & WESSON MODEL 14-4 K38 MASTERPIECE REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Spec. This target
revolver is equipped with 6" barrel, partridge front sight, adjustable rear sight,

Bangor Punta 2-piece blue box with metal reinforced corners which contains instruction
manual, warrantee card, other papers and a cleaning kit. Ser. 85K8471. CONDITION: Appears

13.COLT 2ND GENERATION U.S. CAVALRY COMMEMORATIVE PAIR. Cal. 44 Perc. This pair of 1860
Army percussion revolvers is equipped with 8" round barrels, case colored frames,
brass trigger guard, iron back strap and one-piece wood grips with cartouche. They are
accompanied by a walnut stock with brass hardware numbered to one of the guns. Contained
in the walnut presentation case with the revolvers are reproduction flask, Eley cap box,
blued two cavity iron bullet mold and nipple wrench. The left side of the barrels is
inscribed "United States Cavalry Commemorative". The cartouche on the grips is
"MJH" for Marty Huber, the Historian Emeritus at Colt. Ser. 2246US & US2246.
CONDITION: Appears new, unfired, unturned. The case and all accessories are also new. The

14.*SMITH & WESSON MODEL 27-3 FBI COMMEMORATIVE REVOLVER. Cal. 357 Mag. This revolver
is equipped with a 5" barrel, ramp front sight, adjustable rear sight, target trigger
and hammer, smooth square-butt medallion grips and the sideplate is marked with the seal
of the FBI with the barrel bearing the inscription "1934 Federal Bureau of
Investigation 1984". The additional number "FBI 9291" below the cylinder on
the left side of the frame. It is in its original cardboard box with a wooden presentation
case and accompanied by a Smith & Wesson letter giving the history of the Model 27.

15.*COLT FRONTIER SCOUT GOLDEN SPIKE COMMEMORATIVE. Cal. 22. This 1969 produced revolver
has a 6" barrel and 2-piece Colt medallion grips. The barrel, frame and grip frame
are blued while the ejector rod housing, ejector rod head, cylinder pin & retaining
screw, cylinder, hammer, frame screws and trigger are gold plated. It is accompanied by
its original fitted composition case and a gold plated facsimile spike. The right side of

equipped with 20" round barrel, full magazine, hooded ramp front sight, open rear
sight and straight stock with checkered steel buttplate. The saddle ring, loading gate,
trigger and buttplate are gold plated. The barrel on the right side of the chamber bears
the inscription "Illinois SESQUICENTENNIAL 1818-1968" and has a medallion inlaid
in the right side of the stock. In its original shipping carton. Ser. IS1271. CONDITION:

28.*WEATHERBY CENTURION-II 1980 DUCKS UNLIMITED SEMI-AUTO SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. 2-3/4"
and 3". This beautiful shotgun is equipped with 30" vent rib barrel, full choke,
black anodized alloy receiver with etched patterns of geese on both sides with leaves and
vines. The left side is embossed with the Ducks Unlimited Shield and the words "Ducks
Unlimited" on the right side. The wood is truly one of the magnificent pieces one
will ever encounter. It is sunburst burl grain through the entire buttstock and tortoise
shell on the forearm. Truly magnificent. The stock has a Weatherby recoil pad. Ser.

29.*ITHACA MODEL 37 CENTENNIAL MODEL PUMP SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. This shotgun is equipped
with 28" vent rib Mod barrel, round beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with
rubber recoil pad. The receiver is etched engraved on both sides with the left having a
facsimile of the Ithaca Gun Company plant and the bust of a hunter with a shotgun over his
shoulder surmounted by an unfurled ribbon with the motto "1880-Centennial-1980".
All surrounded with Arabesque patterns. The right side has an oval woodland scene of a
bird dog on point and a father and son in the background all surrounded by arabesque
patterns. The entire receiver is silver plated and lacquer coated. It is in its original
box with instruction manual and plug. Ser. CENT-0537. CONDITION: Appears new, unfired,
retaining about all of its original factory finish with some discoloration spots to the
top left and bottom left of the receiver. The high luster wood is near perfect. The inside

31.*WINCHESTER BUFFALO BILL COMM. LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 30-30. This rifle is equipped
with 26" octagon barrel, full magazine, open sights, saddle ring, plain wood with
straight grip and curved steel buttplate. The forend cap, hammer, trigger, buttplate and
saddle ring are nickel plated. The receiver is engraved on one side "Buffalo
Bill" and light scrolls on the other side. Ser. WC52440. CONDITION: Appears new in
the original box and colorful shipping sleeve with one or two minor storage nicks. The

32.*RIZZINI MODEL S780E OVER/UNDER SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. This modern shotgun is equipped
with 27-5/8" barrels, choked Full/Mod with Schnable forearm, engraved coin finish
receiver and pistol grip stock 14-1/4" over black composition buttplate. It has
single selective trigger and ejectors. It is accompanied by its original shipping box with
a can of Rizzini spray oil. The receiver is etch engraved with game scene panels having

Equipped with 26" barrels, splinter forearm and semi-pistol grip stock. Ser. 1059.
CONDITION: Fair condition having a brown patina over the barrels with the tiny receiver
and sidelocks retaining traces of case coloring and the balance having turned silver. The
checkered forearm is excellent while the stock has a very large chunk missing from the toe
and buttplate. Good bores with light pitting. (2) Springfield/Stevens Model 5100. Cal. 12
ga. It has 30" barrels, Full/Mod, tenite (plastic) stock and forearm. No serial
number. CONDITION: Good condition overall with mottled blue/brown barrels and traces of
case colors on the receiver. The stock and forearm are sound with nicks and handling

34.*REMINGTON MODEL 1100 SEMI-AUTO SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. This classic is equipped with two

CONDITION: Sound mechanically with 95%+ blue overall and light pitting on both barrels and

with a 19" stainless barrel and magazine tube with parkerized receiver. It has a

is equipped with 26" barrel, part of which is a removable choke, a spring loaded trap
device and open sights. No serial number. CONDITION: Appears to have heavy coating of old
dried oil, should clean very well. The wood is sound with lots of finish. The magazine is
missing. (2) Winchester Model 69A Match. Cal. 22 LR only. This rare little rifle is
equipped with 25" round barrel, blade front sight and is missing the Lyman rear
sight. It has factory sling swivels installed and a hard rubber buttplate. No serial
number. CONDITION: As above with a heavy coat of oil and light freckling on the barrel.

mottled silver/brown. The wood is sound retaining little finish. Near perfect bore. (2)
Winchester Model 57 Bolt Action Rifle. Cal. 22 LR. Composite rifle of dubious parentage.
Ser. 2123. CONDITION: Fine pitting over the metal surfaces with thin refinish. The front
sight is original with a Lyman 57 FS target sight on the receiver. The stock appears to be

scarce pistol has a 3-1/2" barrel, fixed sights and smooth Smith & Wesson
medallion grips. Ser. 3618. CONDITION: Retains most of a poor refinish with the upper part
being plum colored and the frame a mottled blue. The bore has sharp strong rifling with
light pitting. The grips are sound with no finish. (2) Reising Target Automatic. Cal. 22
LR. This scarce pistol is equipped with 6-3/4" barrel, fixed sights, and bear logo

equipped with a 2-1/4" barrel and a hard rubber grip, the other is missing. The
magazine appears to be an after market replacement as it will not latch properly. Ser.
1056. CONDITION: Poor. Missing grip and blood pitted to the left side. The action will not
open, so unable to determine bore condition. (2) Omega. Appears to be Brownings Patent
with 2" barrel and pressed horn grip. Ser. 6065. CONDITION: This little Spanish made
gun should be used for parts only, as the slide is cracked. It retains finish only in
sheltered areas. The recoil spring is very weak, has a poor bore with very good grips. (3)
Mauser Model 1910. It has a 3" barrel with wrap-around wood grips. Ser. 234767.
CONDITION: Fair, having a mottled blue/brown finish overall with some light pitting to the
left rear. The grips show much use and handling with some minor damage to the front edges.
Very good bore, dark in the grooves. (4) Mauser Model 1934. It has a 3" barrel and

mechanically, this pistol has been poorly stored in a damp area, probably a holster, as it

built on a commercial Colt frame, with all Springfield Armory National Match parts, is

sight and Bomar rear sight. There is a large double-struck "P" proof below the
magazine release on the left side. It has a checkered front strap, full checkered wood
grips and trigger shoe. This pistol is standard National Match except for the addition of
a custom extended slide release, probably made at Springfield Armory. (Note: This pistol
was purchased from the son of Richard H. (Dick) Colby, who was the chief design engineer

front sight dove tail has been hammered and peened. The magazine tube and forend cap are

equipped with a barrel marked "SC/6-43", standard front sight and a Redfield
Olympic micrometer match sight attached to the left side of the receiver. The original
rear sight has been removed. It is accompanied by the original shipping document from
Raritan Arsenal NJ to "Robert C. Marshall, Washington 4, D.C." Voucher #76952

$14.50 The straight grip stock is equipped with a solid checkered steel buttplate. The

71.*SPRINGFIELD 1903 NATIONAL MATCH TYPE RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. This rifle is equipped with a
barrel marked "SA/7-27" on which it appears the Star Gage mark has been
obliterated as there are myriad small nicks and dings to the crown in that area. It has a
polished bolt & handle, Type C stock, deep checkered steel buttplate with 03 metal
cleaning kit in the trap, early muzzle cover and P.J. O'Hare steel sight covers. The bolt
is marked "N.S." and has a headless striker. The stock has a small cartouche
"RA-P" in a square and several numbers down the comb. The belly of the stock has
a drawing number as does the hand guard. Ser. 1210058. CONDITION: The barrel and receiver
retain 97-98% blue/black finish, the trigger guard & floor plate 90-92% thinning
blue/brown finish and the bore is as issued. The stock has a longitudinal crack 1" at
the rear of the receiver and a couple of dings on the left upper wrist, and minor bruises
and nicks elsewhere about the wood, nothing serious. It retains most of its original
finish. The hand guard appears to be a replacement as it is darker and more oil stained
showing numerous small nicks and scratches. It has a drawing number stamped on the top.

CONDITION: Matching except for the breech block. The slide retains most of a recent
refinish as does the barrel. The frame appears to be original retaining most of its brush
finish. It apparently was police issue as the target proof is stamped on the front of the
barrel lug. The left side of the frame bears the post-war eagle proof and the letters

an old refinish with fine pin points of old rust over much of the piece. The grips,

dings primarily to the left side. The frame has light to moderate pitting at the edges as

brown color. Light remains of original blue on hammer and lockplate. Stock is good with
minor fracture below lockplate and numerous dings and dents from use. Bore is mirror

119.U.S. MODEL 1884 CADET RIFLE TYPE I. Cal. 45/70 Ser. 317817. 29-1/2" round barrel
with Buffington rear sight, two piece carbine style trigger guard and stacking swivels on
top barrel band. Breech block marked "U.S. Model/1884". Breech markings as
expected with the letter "A" stamped perpendicular to the breech. CONDITION:
Excellent. Much original blue exists on receiver and trigger guard with the remainder
turning a pleasing plum brown color. Breech block interior shows bright case colors
beginning to fade on the outside. Stock is very sharp with minor storage dents, no

120.GERMAN OVER/UNDER COMBINATION GUN. Cal. 9 mm. This unusual firearm is equipped with
23-1/2" part round/part octagon over/under barrels that have open sights. The over
barrel is rifle and the under barrel is smooth bore. The under lever action is equipped
with exposed hammer that has a unique articulated nose to fire either the over or under
barrel. It is lightly engraved with Arabesque pattern and bears German "B U"
proofs. The typical European stock with cheekpiece and smooth steel buttplate, has Flobert
style side panels and is equipped with a button sling swivel. No serial number. CONDITION:
Overall brown patina with some light crusting. The rear sight is missing. The bores are
dark with pitting. The rifle bore has deep sharp rifling. The stock is sound retaining

121.RARE WHITNEY HOWARD SINGLE SHOT PATENT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 44 RF. This rare rifle has a
24" round barrel with integral receiver, open sights and a straight stock with hard
rubber buttplate. It is not equipped with a forearm. The lever action opens a sliding
breech bolt on the bottom of the receiver to access the chamber for loading and
extraction. Ser. 530. CONDITION: Very good to excellent overall with mottled blue/brown
patina on metal parts. The stock, a replacement, conforms to original dimensions. The
sights appear original and the bore is very good with sharp strong rifling and only minor

122.FRENCH MODEL 1886/93 BOLT ACTION MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 8 mm. This all matching numbered
rifle is equipped with 32-1/2" round barrel, full length wood retained by two barrel
bands. It has open sights, graduated to 800 meters and is equipped with flat leather
sling. Ser. 48600. CONDITION: The barrel retains 75-85% blue thinning about the exposed
area. The receiver is mottled blue/gray on the left side and top while the right side
retains 90% dark blue. The trigger guard and floorplate are a silver metal color. The wood
is sound retaining little finish. The bore has sharp strong rifling that will clean

inside "C. Wagner-77-277/1000". Overall 4-1/2" high plus hanger loop x
4-1/2" diameter at the bottom flare. There is a full bodied bull elk with 5 x 5
antlers molded to the outside. The clapper is a cast elk's hoof and leg. CONDITION:

148.ENGRAVED 18TH CENTURY POWDERHORN. A nice early powderhorn measuring 11-1/2"
overall with soft wood plug secured by hand wrought iron tacks. Along the body of the horn
is carved "WM" and "RDMI" and the date "1777" with a few
indiscernible scenes. CONDITION: Fair. Unfortunately worms have eaten part of the horn
away on the plug end and there is a 4" long fracture most likely from someone
dropping the horn in recent times. The fracture however, does not affect the engraving.

155.LOT OF TRENCH ART AND WWI AERIAL BOMB. This lot consists of a cannon projectile
2-3/4" diameter x 11-1/2" long with copper rotating ring mounted to a wooden
base, wired to be a lamp; a complete round of the same size cartridge that is 24" in
length mounted to a turned wooden base and sporting three brass arms with pull chain lamp
sockets; the final item is a 25 lb. aerial bomb complete with fuse vanes and hangers,
measuring 24" long x approximately 5" diameter tapering down to the four fins.
CONDITION: The cannon shell lamps are very good. The bomb has been amateurishly painted
with red nose and fins with yellow body and the paint is crackled and crazed. 4-98703

apparently was an actual gallery rifle as the front and rear ends are mismatched. It is
equipped with a 23" round barrel, flat bottomed ribbed forearm and straight stock
with hard rubber buttplate. Ser. 18518. CONDITION: The barrel and magazine tube retain
95-97% original blue with the receiver retaining 96-97% bright blue. The back half of the
receiver and tangs retain 75% blue/gray patina. The forearm, a replacement, is missing one
attaching screw and the op rod has a welded repair. The forearm wood shows much use. The
stock is sound but has been amateurishly refinished and severely sanded at the grip. The

24" tapered octagonal barrel with open sights, 1/2 magazine, walnut forearm and
straight stock with rampant Colt hard rubber buttplate. Ser. 22660. CONDITION: Excellent
original, retaining 96-98% barrel and magazine tube blue, 95-97% receiver blue that has
turned a mellow blue/brown patina on the belly & trigger guard, and is thinning on the
upper and lower tangs. The forearm is sound and clean with what appears to be the outlines
of a checkering pattern and retains 96-98% finish. The stock is also sound and clean and
retains 96-98% original finish on the right side, however the left side has mostly been
cleaned to bare wood. The buttplate is near perfect. The bore has strong rifling, but is
dark with mild pitting from corrosive ammunition. All in all, a really neat little rifle.

176.U.S. CARTRIDGE CO. PLASTER CARTRIDGE BOARD. This unusual item is a plaster casting of
a very early United States Cartridge Co. cartridge board, displaying their tremendous line
of self contained ammunition, bullets and primers. It has both rifle, handgun and shot
shell ammunition. The image size is 34" x27" and it is framed in a laminated oak
frame 30-1/4" x 32-1/4" of more recent manufacture. It was allegedly used as a
display at the 1892 Chicago Expo and 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. The consignor reports
that it was refurbished in the 1960's. CONDITION: Excellent, with virtually all the

204.CUSTOM ENGRAVED WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 32WCF. A special order
standard grade rifle with 24-3/8" octagon barrel, button magazine, "extra
finish", smooth wood, straight stock and crescent steel buttplate. The receiver
elaborately and deep relief engraved on both sides with the foreward part of the frame
bearing the precise likeliness of an 1873 seated Liberty half dollar in deep bas-relief,
the left rear frame bears a 7/8" diameter deep relief engraving of the bust of an
Indian in full feather head dress, the left sideplate is engraved with 1-1/4"
diameter deep relief likeness of a grizzly bear in a mountain scene, the right rear frame
has a 7/8" diameter deep relief engraving of a full body grizzly bear, the right
sideplate 1-1/4" blank oval vignette apparently for initials. Those areas not thusly
engraved are covered by arabasque floral patterns and borders which includes the dust
cover, brass carrier and part of the lower frame. The upper and lower tangs, front edge of
the receiver, rear barrel, muzzle and foreword edge of the buttplate tang have fine
engraved serrations. The entire metal surface is in the white and was at one time
goldwashed. Accompanied by fitted velvet lined aftermarket case. Ser. 380684. CONDITION:
The metal retaining most of its original bright polish with approximately 50% of its
goldwash primarily in the engraving and sheltered areas, the wood sound with 93-95%
varnish. Lever pin for tension spring broken, otherwise apparently sound mechanically,
good base with strong rifling. The barrel and tang lettering and serial number
re-engraved. The engraving is of good quality displaying far better than average detail
especially considering the difficulty with the deep relief work. Very likely a

some minor pinpoint dings at the muzzle end of the slide and some very light freckling
over the rear of the slide, front and back straps. The left side of the slide lower edge
has a slight discoloration and scratching reminiscent of zipper burns, excellent bore,

being marked on the right side, Colt automatic/calibre 455 and a "W" prefixed to
the serial number, the left side with standard Colt markings and various British marks and
proof marks, the two-tone magazine with lanyard loop marked on the base "Cal.
455/Eley". Ser. W100806. CONDITION: Very good, retaining 90-92% bright blue with
blood pitting about the slide and one spot front edge of the frame, the frame very strong
blue thinning only at the front strap with minor pitting and a grey spring housing. The
grips are sound with smooth diamonds and minor nicks and bruising. The bore has sharp
strong rifling, lots of shine, frosted in the grooves. There is a crack in the left side

usual lock and barrel markings and proofs, dated at the back edge of the lock and top flat
of the barrel "1862", two crisp cartouches on the left flat, correct barrel
bands and ramrod. No ser. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining a bright white all cleaned
finish overall with remnants of very fine pitting. The markings all crisp and clear,
slightly thin on the barrel, the wood sound and clean with crisp cartouches, showing only

217.MASSIVE PERCUSSION BENCH RIFLE. Cal. 40 perc. This huge rifle is equipped with a
33-1/4" octagon barrel, 1-9/16" across the flats. The upper left flat is marked
"J.F. Brown/Cast Steel". The left flat is marked "Muzzy/Lowell, Mass./Cast
Steel". Approximately 2" from the muzzle is a 6" x 1/2" rest, the
front sight is an iron tube with post, the rear sight a screwed in peep sight in the upper
tang, the back action lock is case colored and equipped with stylized German silver
trigger guard and double-set triggers, smooth walnut stock with German silver crescent
buttplate. Accompanied by a fitted bright 4-pin false muzzle with sight block and matching
brass and iron bullet starter. No ser. CONDITION: The barrel a silver metal patina, the
sight, barrel rest, hammer, breech block and tang are refinished brown while the block has
faded case colors, the replacement stock sound and clean, the bore appears excellent.

front bead, iron ramrod rib with two iron guides containing a replacement ramrod with
original brass tip. The one piece half stock wood with brass nose pipe, brass trigger
guard, trigger and buttplate and trigger with oval name plate top of the wrist. The back
action lock is unmarked. No. ser. CONDITION: The barrel retains a medium dark patina
thinning about the forearm with wrench marks about the chamber area, the stock has a
hairline crack back of the lock and a sliver of wood loose at the nipple, the lock and

30-7/8" barrels with iron ramrod guides, original hickory rod, a single wedge through
replacement diamond escutcheons, the nose pipe engraved German silver, the chamber area
inlaid with two gold bands, the back action locks, hammers, top tang and trigger guard
engraved with arabesque patterns, the straight stock with smooth steel buttplate with
German silver patchbox and very fancy cap box in a toe trap. The rib with silver
"Warranted", and engraved with makers name. No ser. CONDITION: Very good,
retaining a deep brown patina over all the metal parts with Damascus pattern showing
through. The nicely figured stock with 5-3/4" drop appears sound with minor chips out

firearm is equipped with 24-7/8" Damascus barrels, bead front sight, two leaf, one
standing, one folding sight, checkered straight stock, 14-1/4" over smooth steel
buttplate. The long receiver serves as a forearm with side lever opening, back action
locks, hammers and receivers lightly arabesque scroll engraved with the makers name on
each lock and down the rib, the left barrel, smooth bore and the right rifled. Ser. 282.
CONDITION: The barrels with 60-70% pattern have light pitting toward the muzzles and
around the pinholes, the bores are dark with moderate pitting and a small ring in the
rifle barrel, the receiver and locks retain traces of case color with the balance being a

express sight with one standing and two platnum line folding leaves, matted top barrel,
engraved round action with side hammer and extractors, small checkered forearm and pistol
grip stock 15" over smooth steel buttplate. Accompanied by a letter from Holland
& Holland dated 10 October 1994 advising that it was made approximately 1890 with no
other information available. Ser. 10311. CONDITION: Fair, retaining a blue/brown patina
over most of the metal, thin over the forearm which is cracked and crudely repaired, chip
of wood missing at the receiver, a repaired crack through the wrist being dark and oil
stained, the receiver and back action sidelock extremely fine arabasque pattern engraved,
good bore, sharp strong rifling, dark in the grooves. An excellent old gun that has seen
