Featuring Generations of Fine Antiques, Art, and Estate Jewelry from the Estate of Attorney John & Cornelia Barnard Jr. John was an integral part of Boston’s Financial Center for decades. Cornelia was the daughter of J. Howard Bridge, assistant to Andrew Carnegie, Herbert Spencer, and Henry Frick, who became curator of The Frick Art Collection (1914- 1928) in NYC. Many items in this sale were originally in Mr. Bridges apartment in the Hotel Des Artistes, 1 67th St, NYC when working with Mr. Frick.
