Featuring the 50-year collection of the late Lois Hirschmann of Marion, MA, being sold to benefit the Sandwich Glass Museum’s Endowment Fund including many pieces acquired from notable collections such as William Elsholz, the Richards, Ruth Wakefield, &c. To be followed by the second half of the late Dr. E. R. Eller collection, former curator at the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh, a New Jersey estate collection formed in the 1940s and packed away for 40+ years, the collection of Pamela H. Christoffel, lighting from the collection of Sam & Sara Sampson, plus others. This promises to be one of the most important auctions of early glass and lighting held in the past decade.

Highlights include more than 50 colored vases; 100+ colored candlesticks; over 75 whale oil/fluid lamps; early kerosene lighting including 25+ cut overlays; rare colored flint compotes; a large collection of pressed lacy including 125+ open salts and 150 cup plates; a large selection of children’s toy dishes; cologne bottles; paperweights; important blown glass; historical flasks; English/Irish cut glass; plus much more.
