Jenkins to Move February Nashville Shows Back to Fairgrounds

August 21st, 2013

Jenkins Management has announced the February 13-15, 2014, Tailgate/Music Valley Antique Show and the Vintage Marketplace will be returning to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds.

For the past two years, the shows were held at the Hendersonville Expo Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee, about 13 miles from Opryland, the home of the Heart of Country antiques shows.

A statement on the Jenkins Management Web site states, “After much thought, discussion and input from vendors and customers, we have made changes to our upcoming Nashville show schedule. The February 13-15, 2014 Tailgate/Music Valley Antique Show & the Vintage Marketplace will be held at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds. Since moving from the Opryland area, the Fairgrounds was always our preferred location, but the announcement several years ago of its closure forced us to make other choices. We have now received the assurances we were needing from the city about the future of the facility and are very excited about returning.

“The Tennessee State Fairgrounds is centrally located and has a long tradition of being the top destination for shows in the Nashville market. We look forward to seeing you in February.

“There will not be a show in October of 2013 and we will make a decision on hosting a fall show in 2014 soon.”
