James “Jim” Montell (Feb. 24, 1932-Jan. 29, 2023)
Jim Montell passed away on January 29. Funeral services for the longtime Maine antiques show promoter will be held at the Augusta Armory on Western Avenue, Augusta, Maine, on Friday, February 3, at 10 a.m. with a burial service graveside at the Maine Veteran’s Cemetery on Mt. Vernon Road, Augusta, directly following.
Friends, neighbors, and colleagues may visit at the family home, 127 Dresden Avenue, Gardiner, on Wednesday, February 1, and Thursday, February 2, from 2 to 7 p.m.
Shiva (memorial prayers) will be held on Saturday, February 4, Sunday, February 5, and Monday, February 6, at 6 p.m. at the family home (127 Dresden Ave., Gardiner).
