We are pleased to offer fresh to the market estate antiques to kick off summer auction week in midcoast Maine again this year!

We have a wonderful selection including a Connecticut cherry bonnet-top highboy direct from the Appleton Seaverns estate of Camden, Maine and Suffield, Connecticut, along with provenance.

Also from the Seaverns estate many pieces of early American furniture of high quality.

Portrait of Anna Marie Stocker Lewis by Jacob Eichholtz 1776-1842; two paintings in the circle of or by John Constable; rare school girl painted box; Connecticut tiger maple blanket chest; diminutive slant-front desk; 18th-century secretary desk with candle slides; important find of Maine-made 19th-century guns by Ephraim White 1843-1933 of Waldoboro, Maine, including a pistol he made at 11 years of age, sharp shooter rifle with scope, circa 1865, two buggy rifles with extra barrels circa 1880. 

Also estate Oriental rugs, American furniture, items from the yacht Alva of the
Vanderbilt
