Firearms and English furniture and decorative arts specialist David Jackson has joined Garth’s Auctioneers & Appraisers, Delaware, Ohio.
A native of Lancashire, England, Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in fine arts valuation from Southampton Solent University in Southampton, England. He successfully attained his degree while continuing a 25-year career as a police officer, which included positions with the Lancashire Police art and antiques division, the armed response officer team (SWAT), and the special branch as a protection officer to members of the royal family and government leadership. In the United States, Jackson has used his tactical experience in the British police department to become an NRA accredited handgun instructor and range safety officer, teaching over 120 students each month in central Ohio.
