The 2013 Greenwich Winter Antiques Show, Classic to Contemporary, produced by Barn Star Productions in collaboration with the Greenwich Historical Society, will be held December 6-8 at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center in Old Greenwich, Connecticut.
In 2012 the show was called Antiques and Art Avant Garde Greenwich and took place a week later. This year the show will be a feature of the historical society’s Antiquarius holiday fund-raiser, which also includes an annual holiday house tour and holiday gift boutique.
Regarding last year’s show, manager Frank Gaglio said, “We were pleased with last year’s show in every respect, from the refurbished Civic Center facility to the exceptional presentation the exhibitors made. The gala was a stellar event patronized by some of the community’s most recognized patrons of the arts, and a significant amount of business was transacted. We intend to make the show even more spectacular this year and look forward to collaborating with the Greenwich Historical Society under the beloved Antiquarius umbrella.”
Plans for a host of special events associated with the show are in the works, including celebrity guest speakers and a designer event; both were sold-out events in 2012.
