For over 200 years the Rathbun and Gillette family lovingly protected and preserved their family antique treasures on this 19th-century farm that borders the Erie Canal and the NY Central Railroad.

This once-in-a-lifetime auction consists of 1000s and 1000s of family passed down small collections never for sale until now. Many people have tried to buy items here, but no one has been successful.

The late Beverly Rathbun Gillette was the family matriarch and the founder of the Schuyler, NY, historical society and the preserver of all the family antiques.

The important history of this English family descends from John and Priscilla Alden of the Mayflower to a family member [Basil Rathbone] that was the star of the Sherlock Holmes movies in London, England. Rathbun-Rathbone-Rathburn are all descendants of the same family with similar names.
