This auction will feature over 500 lots from Africa,
East and Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the
Americas spanning several centuries of artistic and artisan production.

 

 

Some of the highlights include:

Paintings of African origin by Peter Kodjo Attisso, a local practicing artist who recently emigrated from Togo, a selection of Russian and Polish religious artefacts, Bohemian glassware, French porcelain, and a fine collection of 17th-19th-century English paintings, silver pieces from Sheffield and Boston, a significant collection of Native American artworks, including prints by contemporary Inuit artists Pudlo Pudlat and Pitaloosie Saila, works on paper by Oswaldo Guayasamin of Ecuador, and silver from Argentina. Other featured lots will be a miniature cast of the Taiwanese artist Ju Ming’s Tai Chi series of bronze sculptures, from the collection of Dr. Shien Biau Woo, the former Lt. Governor of Delaware and Professor Emeritus of the University of Delaware, a painting of Princess Diana Spencer from a series of celebrity portraits by the contemporary Chinese artist Huang Yan.
