The late Elaine Tenerowicz was a beloved career Western Massachusetts high school teacher with a passion for history, research, and collecting. At the center of her various collections was the nearly 2000 pieces of Vintage Bakelite jewelry including 100s of bangle bracelets, pins, pendants, earrings, rings, necklaces & clips plus utilitarian items including sewing items, compacts, perfumes, wine opener, crib toy, etc. There is also a small collection of vintage handbags.
