Provenance:
Frank Ewing, Wilmington, Delaware, Sold April 4, 1959
to Constantine Sclavos (1896-1985), Glasgow, Delaware,
to his daughter Mary S. Murphy (1925-2020) Elkton, Delaware; thence by descent.
This newly discovered large bronze version of Diana is
one of just six known examples including those at the
Brooklyn Museum, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and Chesterwood.
