Note to Our Buyers

Iroquois Auctions is pleased to announce one of the largest one owner estate collections of Mochaware + Spatterware from the estate of the late Carl Hinkle of Truxton, NY. Along with many 18th + 19th century other exceptional items, will be sold with no reserve to the highest bidder on 1/1/23 at 10 AM, preview 8-10 AM, sale day only, at the Great Northern Mall on Rt. 31 in Clay, NY and on LiveAuctioneers.com.

The Hinkles were very private collectors and not many people knew of these collections. They were not dealers but collected all of these beautiful pieces over 60 years.

I would like to personally thank Jeff DeHart, former owner of Conestoga Auctions, who personally touched, cataloged, described, and estimated all of the Mochaware and Spatterware in this sale. Please contact Jeff DeHart with questions concerning condition, value + other at (717) 468-1330 for these items only. Also, The Hess Auction Group (717) 426-2493 for their help. I personally had little knowledge in this area, so their help, I believe will be useful to our customers. The revenue from the Hinkle portion of our auction for the most part, will benefit the 4H Club, so please keep that in mind while bidding. All of the Hinkle lots will be marked, “Hinkle Estate.”

We also have an estate of quality antiques + WWII military items (WWII Bronze Star) of the late Judith and Lt. Clarence H (Larry) Carney of Pulaski, NY, who was a WWII and Vietnam 2-time Bronze Star holder.
