Built in N. Tonawanda, NY, as advertising for a brewery in the 1920s.

Originally on a 1922 Overland truck chassis, but later put on a 1932 Plymouth chassis to have a more powerful engine and hydraulic brakes.

Used for many years as a carnival sound truck in the Northern Tier of PA and the Southern Tier of NY.

Then it was on display at Percell’s Amusement Park in Williamsport, PA.

Most recently it was on display at the Tee-To-Tum Museum in Wysox, PA.

When being driven it looks like the mechanical man is walking and pulling the vehicle.

His head can be turned manually and through the speaker in his chest he “talks.”

Included is the original vintage sound system with 2 large speakers mounted outside,
a record player, an amplifier, and a hand-held microphone.

We are asking $65,000 or best reasonable offer.

Some historical information and photos are available.

We would like to see this great folk art vehicle go to a good home.

There is a short video on YouTube under the title: 1922 Circus Sound Truck.
